Atomelektrostaciju risku uztveres socioloģiska izpēte

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Atomelektrostaciju risku uztveres socioloģiska izpēte” veidots ar mērķi veikt atomelektrostaciju risku uztveres socioloģisku izpēti, analizējot riska un riska uztveres jēdzienus un situāciju Latvijā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā aplūkotas riska uztveres sociālās teorijas – kultūras teorija, psihometriskā paradigma un riska sabiedrības teorija. Pētījumā izmantotas kvalitatīvās pētniecības metodes – daļēji strukturētās padziļinātās intervijas ar Latvijas iedzīvotājiem un ekspertiem. Darbā galvenās aplūkotās tēmas ir riska skaidrojums, riska uztveres veidošanās, argumenti par un pret atomelektrostaciju darbību. Iegūtie rezultāti norāda uz līdzīgu riska izpratni starp iedzīvotājiem un ekspertiem, bet atšķirīgu viedokli par atomelektrostaciju drošību un uzticību kodoltehnoloģijām. The objective of bachelor’s thesis “Sociological analysis of risk perception of nuclear power station” is to elaborate sociological research on risk perception of nuclear power station, analyzing the concepts of risk and risk perception and situation in Latvia. In the theoretical part of this paper social theories of risks perception were discussed – cultural theory, psychometric paradigm and risk society theory. The study is based on qualitative research methods – partially structured in-depth interviews with lay people and experts. The main topics of this paper are explanation of risk, development of risk perception and arguments for and against the functioning of nuclear power stations. The acquired results indicate similar risk awareness among lay people and experts, but a different view on the safety of nuclear power stations and confidence in nuclear technology.
