| dc.description.abstract | Pētījums „Iepazīšanās virtuālā vidē: iepazīšanās portāla otrapuse.lv analīze” pēta virtuālās iepazīšanās kultūras specifiku. Iepazīšanās portālu iespējas ir plašas un ikvienam indivīdam paredzētas, tomēr paliek jautājums, vai tiešām to uzbūve veicina un sekmē solīto, kādi ir to ieguvumi un zaudējumi, drošības aspekti un publicējamo datu iespējas, turklāt kā indivīda identitātes atspoguļošana mainās atkarībā no mērķa.
Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt portālu otrapuse.lv, izprast tā vidi, iepazīšanās kultūras specifiku, kā arī novērot to ieguvumus un zaudējumus, pētīt kā indivīdi veido savu identitāti atkarībā no to mērķiem.

| dc.description.abstract | The research “Online dating: analysis of dating site otrapuse.lv” explores specificity of the virtual dating culture. Online dating options are wide, but the question remains whether the structure encourages and promotes what is asserted, security aspects and advantages and disadvantages, and how an individual's identity varies depending his or her target.
The study aim is to explore the portal otrapuse.lv, understand its environment, dating cultural specificity, and study how individuals reflect their identities according to their objectives.
Conclusion of the research describes the perception of users, the individual peculiarities of communication, personality development and self disclosure specific characteristics depending on their target.
