Bakalaura darbs ar nosaukumus „Sievietes tēla konstrukcija žurnāla „Pastaiga” reklāmās (2007-2008)” autore ir pētījusi un analizējusi dzimtes stereotipu pielietojumu drukātajās reklāmās. Darbam ir trīs daļas: teorētiskā daļa, metodoloģija un daļa, kurā ir tikusi izklāstīta sievietes tēla konstrukcijas pētījums. Teorētiskajā daļā autore aplūko medijus, drukātos medijus un specifiskāk tieši žurnālus, tālāk pievēršoties dzimtes konceptam dažādos aspektos un reklāmai kā komunikācijai. Tā kā empīriskā analīze sastāv no kontentanalīzes un semiotiskās analīzes, teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota arī semiotika, dziļāku ieskatu iegūstot metodoloģiskajā daļā, kur aprakstīta tieši semiotiskā analīze.
Darba nobeigumā autore secina, lai gan reklāmās novērojami daudz stereotipi, bet uzsver, ka laikam ejot, sieviešu stereotipi drukātajās reklāmās samazinās gan sievietes ārienē, gan apģērbā, gan arī attieksmē un nostājā pret savas dzīvi un vīriešiem.

In this Bachelor paper „Construction of woman’s image in magazine’s „Pastaiga” advertisements (2007 – 2008)” the author has made an analyze and researched gender stereotype use in printed media. The paper consists of three parts: theoretical, methodology and a part where the research on construction of woman’s image has been displayed. In theoretical part author takes an insight in media, printed media, putting a greater stress on magazines, towards gender concept from different viewpoints and advertisement as communication. The empirical part consists of content analyze and semiotic analyze, author has put a part for semiotics in the theoretical part as well. There is specifically deeper insight of semiotic analyze in methodological part.
In the closing part of her paper author highlights that despite there is a heavy use of stereotypes in advertisements of printed media, during time there is a tendency for the use of gender stereotypes to decrease in such categories as woman’s appearance, clothing and in they attitude to they own potentialities and men in general.
