Drifta reprezentācija Latvijas interneta medijos (2009–2011)

Abstract

Darba temats ir „Drifta reprezentācija Latvijas interneta medijos (2009-2011)”, un tā pētījuma problēma ir, vai drifts kā autosporta veids pietiekami tiek reprezentēts Latvijas interneta medijos. Teorētiskajā daļā aplūkotas reprezentācijas teorijas, interneta un sporta žurnālistika, kā arī drifts. Kā metodoloģija darbā izmantota kontentanalīze un naratīvs. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā drifts tiek reprezentēts Latvijas interneta medijos minētajā laika posmā. Kvantitatīvajā daļā tika aplūkotas „Apollo”, „Delfi”, „TVNet” un „Go4speed” portālu publikācijas, kas atklāja, ka drifta reprezentācijas intensitāte šajā laika posmā ievērojami pieaugusi. Kvalitatīvajā daļā tika pētītas „Apollo” un „Go4speed” publikācijas, un tajās atklājās, ka drifts tiek reprezentētas kā aizraujošas sacensības, bet latviešu drifteri - kā labākie Austrumeiropā.

The theme of this course is “Representation of drifting in Latvian internet media during the period (2009–2011)”, and the problem of the research is, if drift as a motorsport kind is enough represented in Latvian internet media. The theoretical approach covers theories of representation, online and sports media, and also drifting. Content analysis and the six actant narrative model are used as methodology. The quantitative part was dealt with publications in “Apollo”, “Delfi”, “TVNet” and “Go4speed”, with the conclusion, that the intension of drift representation in this period has increased significantly. In the qualitative part there were investigated publications in “Apollo” and “Go4speed” with the conclusion, that drift is represented as an exciting and spectacular race, but the Latvian drifters as the best in Eastern Europe.
