Abstract

Darbā "Grupu identitātes veidošanās un paškategorizācija interneta ziņu portālu "TVNET" un "Delfi" kultūras sadaļu komentāros 2011. gadā" tiek pētītas komentētāju interešu grupu veidošanās un paškategorizācijas tendences, kā arī lietotie lingvistiskie paņēmieni. Pētījuma teorētiskais rāmējums ir patības teorija, paškategorizācijas teorija un konceptuālo metaforu teorija. Izvēlētās pētījuma metodes ir kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze un kritiskā diskursa analīze. Darbs sākas ar teorijas izklāstu un turpinās ar pētījuma metožu aprakstu. Nākamajā darba daļā aprakstīti iegūtie rezultāti, kā arī veikta to analīze. Pēdējā nodaļā ir aprakstīti no rezultātiem gūtie secinājumi. Noskaidrots, ka komentētājiem ir tendence veidot interešu grupas atkarībā no tā, vai viņi ir par vai pret rakstā aprakstīto situāciju un/vai personību.

The research „Group Identity Formation and Self-categorization in the Commentaries on the News Websites 'TVNET' and 'Delfi' Culture Segments in the Year 2011” focuses on the ways that interest group formation and self-categorization occurs in the commentaries about the issues of the Latvian national culture and the linguistic tools used by the commentators. The research is based on the Self Theory, Self-categorization Theory and Conceptual Metaphor Theory. The chosen research methods are quantitative content analysis and critical discourse analysis. The research description begins with the overview of the theoretical basis and continues with layouts of the chosen research methods. It is then followed by the gathered data and its analysis. The last chapter provides the main conclusions drawn from the analysis.
