Autores izstrādātā bakalaura darba temats ir „Netradicionālo vides reklāmu komunikācijas efektivitāte Rīgā 2011. gadā”. Darba ietvaros veiktā pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāda ir bijusi 2011. gadā Rīgā izvietoto netradicionālo vides reklāmu komunikācijas efektivitāte.
Darba teorētiskā daļa balstīta uz Denisa Makvaila (Denis McQuail) un Svena Vindala (Sven Windahl) atziņām par reklāmas komunikācijas modeļiem, Džona Filipa Džonsa (John Philip Jones) teorētiskajām nostādnēm par reklāmas komunikācijas efektivitāti, Leksa van Meirsa (Lex Van Meuers) un Mendijas Aristofas (Mandy Aristoff) pētījumu par vides reklāmu efektivitāti, kā arī citu autoru teorētiskajiem darbiem.
Pētījuma mērķa sasniegšanai izmantota daļēji strukturētās intervijas, interneta aptaujas un fokusgrupas intervijas metode. Netradicionālo vides reklāmu pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka tās spēj efektīvi piesaistīt uzmanību, bet nespēj nodot vēstījumu un informāciju par zīmolu un produktu.
Bakalaura darbs strukturēts četrās daļās: teorētiskajā, empīriskajā, metodoloģiskajā un secinājumu daļā.

The subject of author’s elaborated Bachelor thesis is ‘Communication effectiveness of nontraditional outdoor advertisements in Riga 2011’. The aim of the research conducted within the framework of Bachelor thesis is to explore, what was the effectiveness of nontraditional outdoor advertisements in Riga year 2011.
The theoretical basis of this Bachelor thesis includes Denis McQuail’s and Sven Windahl’s theoretical conclusions about communication models of advertising, John Philip Jones conclusions about communication effectiveness of advertising, Lex Van Meuers and Mandy Artistoff’s conclusions about effectiveness of outdoor advertisements, as well as theoretical approaches of other authors.
To reach the aim of the research author applies such research methods as Internet questionnaire, focus group interview and semi-structured expert interview. Acquired results represent the effectiveness of outdoor advertisements in attention attraction, but inability to communicate the message and information about the brand and product.
The term paper is structured in 4 parts: theoretical, empirical, methodological and part.
