Digitālā plaisa starp Rīgas un Mazsalacas iedzīvotājiem: interneta lietošanas atšķirības un to veidojošie faktori

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Digitālā plaisa starp Rīgas un Mazsalacas iedzīvotājiem: interneta lietošanas atšķirības un to veidojošie faktori”. Darbā tiek izpētīti un salīdzināti interneta lietošanas paradumi starp lauku rajona un lielpilsētas divu paaudžu iedzīvotājiem divās vecuma grupās: no 19 līdz 33 gadiem un no 47 līdz 61 gadam. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt un aprakstīt digitālās plaisas dažādos aspektus starp dažādās vidēs dzīvojošajiem divu paaudžu iedzīvotājiem. Darbā apskatīta teorija par informācijas sabiedrību, digitālo plaisu un tās veidojošajiem faktoriem, inovāciju difūzijas teorija un teorija par divām paaudzēm – digitālā laikmeta paaudzi un digitālajiem imigrantiem. Darbā izmantotas divas pētniecības metodes – anketēšana un daļēji strukturētā intervija. Atslēgas vārdi: internets, interneta lietošanas prasmes, digitālā plaisa, interneta lietojums, paaudzes.

The subject of the Bachelor is “Digital divide between residents of the city Riga and Mazsalaca town: differences in internet uses and their formative factors”. Author of Bachelor thesis research and compare internet usage habits between two generations living in diffrent environment – rural area and city. The aim of Bachelor thesis is to research and describe various aspects of digital divide between two generations – 19 to 33 and 47 to 61 year old residents - who are living in different environment. The theory part of Bachelor contains theory about information society, digital divide and its aspects, diffusion of innovations and generations – digital immigrants and digital generation.
