Sociālā pakalpojuma pieejamība vardarbībā cietušām sievietēm Valmierā

Abstract

Mūsdienās starptautiskā sabiedrība sistemātiski sākusi pievērsties „ar dzimumu saistītas vardarbības” pret sievieti izpētei. Sociālā darba praksē Latvijā vērojami gadījumi, kad vardarbībā cietušas sievietes saskaras ar problēmām, kuru risināšanai ir nepieciešams saņemt atbilstošus sociālos pakalpojums, taču šie pakalpojumi nav pieejami. Maģistra darba mērķis bija izpētīt sociālo pakalpojumu pieejamību vardarbībā cietušām sievietēm Valmierā, apzināt mērķgrupas vajadzības pēc sociāliem pakalpojumiem, analizēt sociālo pakalpojumu pieejamību un atbilstību mērķa grupas vajadzībām. Pētījumā izmantotas kvalitatīvas pētniecības metodes. Pētījuma rezultāti apliecināja, ka Valmierā ir nepietiekams sociālo pakalpojumu piedāvājums vardarbībā cietušu sieviešu rehabilitācijai un nav nodrošināta pakalpojumu pieejamība mērķa grupas pārstāvēm, kurām nav bērni vai bērni ir pilngadīgi.

Today international society systematically has started to research „gender related violence” issue against women. In the practice of social work in Latvia, there are cases when abused women face problems that require appropriate social services, still these services are not available. The aim of the master paper is to research the availability of social services for women who suffered from violence in Valmiera, to identify the need of the target group for social services, to analyse availability and adequacy of social services to the needs of the target group. There are qualitative research methods used in this paper. The results of the research proved that in Valmiera the offer of social services for rehabilitation of women who suffered from violence is not sufficient and that the availability of the services for the representatives of the target group, who do not have underage children, is not ensured.
