Atšķirīgas pasaules - pētījums par romu bērnu skolas gaitām

Abstract

Darba temats: ,,Atšķirīgas pasaules – pētījums par romu bērnu skolas gaitām”. Darba mērķis – pētīt romu bērnu ar izglītības ieguvi saistīto problēmu specifiku. Darba uzdevumi: 1.Apzināt romu kā etniskās minoritātes statusu Latvijas sabiedrībā. 2.Noteikt romu integrācijas problēmas un apstākļus, kas kavē romu integrāciju sabiedrībā. 3.Pētīt romu bērnu ar izglītības ieguvi saistīto problēmu specifiku. Darba uzbūve: Darba teorētiskajā daļā aplūkoti romi kā Latvijas etniskā minoritāte un tās raksturojums. Analizēti pētījumi par Latvijas sabiedrībā valdošiem stereotipiem par romu dzīvesveidu un romu dzīves apstākļiem, veikts īss ieskats romu izglītības situācijā. Darba praktiskajā daļā veikts pētījums par sabiedrībā valdošiem stereotipiem un pētījums par skolās, kurās mācās romu bērni, apkopoti un analizēti rezultāti. Tika anketēti sabiedrības locekļi un intervēti skolotāji par romu bērnu kā mazākumtautību problēmām skolā. Noteikta un apzināta romu bērnu izglītības ieguves problemātika. Pētītie jautājumi: romu bērnu skolas gaitu izpēte, romu bērnu problēmas izglītības ieguvē. Secinājumi: romu bērniem ir līdzīgas problēmas kā viņu vienaudžiem, tomēr romu bērnu problēmas izglītības ieguvē ietekmē romu dzīvesveids, sociālekonomiskais stāvoklis un sabiedrībā valdošie stereotipi.

Theme: “Different worlds – research about the gypsies children’ schooling days. The purpose of the research: to recognize specifics of the gypsies’ children’s education and the associated problems with it. The task of the research: 1.To recognize the gypsies as an ethnic minority in Latvian community. 2.To determinate the gypsies integration problems and circumstances which is delaying their integration in the community. 3.To do research in the school where the gypsies children study, to locate the problem associated with their education, and the specifics of these problems. The structure of the research: -In the theory part, the following is analyzed: the gypsies as Latvian ethnical minority and its character; the stereotypes in Latvian community about gypsies’ lifestyle and their living conditions. Finally, there is described a short analysis in the gypsies educational system. -In the practical part of the research, there had been conducted about prevailing stereotypes in modern society and a survey in the gypsies’ children’s school, and summarized and analyzed these research’s results. There had been surveying individual members and interviewed teachers about the gypsies children as the ethnic minority problem in schools. Problematic system for gypsies’ children’s to receive education. -Researched topics: Research of the gypsies’ children’s schooling, the gypsies children’s problem receiving education. -Conclusion: The gypsies children have similar problems as their classmates, however their problems in receiving education affects their living style, social economic conditions and the stereotypes in the community.
