Paštestēšanas pieejas un testēšanas rīku salīdzinājums

Abstract

Programmatūras paštestēšana ir viena no viedo tehnoloģiju sastāvdaļām, uz kuras pieejas principiem ar autora nozīmīgu ieguldījumu izstrādāts paštestēšanas rīks. Tomēr, lai nodrošinātu paštestēšanas rīka turpmāku attīstību, nepieciešams novērtēt tā sniegtās iespējas salīdzinājumā ar tām iespējām, ko sniedz citi pasaulē atpazīstami testēšanas rīki, tādēļ darba ietvaros aplūkotas testēšanas metodes un stratēģijas, testu automatizēšanas pieejas un ietvari, kā arī apskatīta paštestēšana pieeja un rīks salīdzinājumā ar 7 pasaulē atzītiem testēšanas rīkiem, katram novērtējot koncepciju, uzbūvi un piedāvātās iespējas. Darba beigās apkopotas iegūtās zināšanas par testu automatizēšanas principiem, paštestēšanas rīka lietderību, turpmākajām attīstības iespējām un vietu starp darbā aplūkotajiem testēšanas rīkiem.

Software self-testing is one of the smart technologies. With authors’ significant contribution self-testing tool has been developed on the basis of self-testing approach. However, in order to provide further development of self-testing tool, its’ features must be evaluated in comparison with the features provided by other world class testing tools. Therefore this work contains overview of testing methods and strategies, test automation approaches and frameworks as well as review of self-testing approach and tool in comparison with 7 world class testing tools by evaluating each tool concept, architecture and provided features. At the end of document the conclusions about usefulness, realization, position (between reviewed tools) and future development opportunities of self-testing tool is made.
