Abstract

Efektīvs programmatūras izstrādes process ir svarīgākais programmatūras izstrādes projektu veiksmes faktors. Šajā maģistra darbā tiek apskatītas gan projektu vadības, gan programminženierijas pieejas un metodoloģijas, kas palīdz uzlabot un pilnveidot šo procesu. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta taupīgās programmatūras izstrādes pieejai, kura tiek izmantota procesu uzlabošanai un zudumu samazināšanai. Tiek definēti galvenie šīs pieejas principi, kā arī tā tiek salīdzināta ar citām populārām programmatūras izstrādes pieejām. Programmatūras izstrādes procesa pilnveidošanas iespējas tiek pētītas, ņemot vērā konkrēta uzņēmuma piemēru, gan teorētiski aprakstot to nepilnības, gan praktiski mēģinot tās novērst. The most important success factor in conducting software engineering projects is an effective process of software development. The present Master thesis investigates both project management and software engineering approaches and methodologies that help facilitate and improve this process. Particular attention is paid to the efficient and cost-effective software development approach, which is applied to enhance the process and enable loss reduction. The main principles of the approach are defined in the thesis, and a comparison with similar frequently used software development approaches is provided. The author explores the opportunities for improvement of the software development process on the basis of concrete, real-life examples of its business application, describing and analysing its possible drawbacks and attempting to overcome them. The results might be regarded as the first step in the implementation of a new cost-effective practical software development system
