Starptautiskā Valūtas fonda starptautiskā aizdevuma ietekme uz Latvijas ekonomiku un ekonomisko suverenitāti

Abstract

Starptautiskā Valūtas fonda (SVF) īstenotās aizdevumu programmas ir izpelnījušās kritiku starptautiskajā arēnā. Arī Latvija ir lūgusi SVF palīdzību un saņēmusi to. Šī darba mērķis ir, izmantojot starptautiski atzītu metodoloģiju SVF aizdevumu programmas analīzei, izvērtēt SVF aizdevuma darbības rezultativitāti, ietekmi uz Latvijas ekonomiku, ekonomisko suverenitāti. Darba gaitā veikts teorētiskais apskats par valsts jēdzienu un izpratni starptautisko tiesību kontekstā, valsts ekonomiskās suverenitātes izpratni starptautiskajās attiecībās. Veikta SVF programmas darbības ietekmes uz valsts ekonomiku un ekonomisko suverenitāti Latvijā analīze. Darba gaitā autore nonāk pie secinājuma, ka SVF īstenotā programma Latvijā ir sasniegusi savus mērķus un nav ietekmējusi valsts ekonomisko suverenitāti.Atslēgvārdi: ekonomiskā suverenitāte, SVF.

International loan programmes, implemented by the IMF have prompted criticism in the international arena. Latvia has received financial assistance from the IMF. The objective of this bachelor thesis is to assess the effectiveness and impact of the IMF’s international loan programme on Latvia’s economy and economic sovereignty. The study of the bachelor thesis involves theoretical overview of the concept of the state and its understanding within the context of the international law, as well as understanding of the concept of economic sovereignty in international relations. The impact of the IMF programme’s activities was analyzed. Author concludes that IMF’s international loan programme implemented in Latvia has met its objectives and has not had a visible impact on the economic sovereignty of the state.
