Darbā tiek noskaidrots, kāda savstarpējā sakarība pastāv starp Amerikas Savienoto Valstu (ASV) un Austrālijas dolāra valūtas kursa svārstībām un zelta un naftas pasaules tirgus cenām. Sakarības tika pētītas analizējot ASV un Austrālijas dolāru, zelta un naftas cenu ilgtermiņa un īstermiņa svārstības. Darbs sastāv no 3 nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tika pētīti valūtas, zelta un naftas vērtību ietekmējošie faktori un tirdzniecības pamatprincipi. Otrajā nodaļā tika veikta ASV un Austrālijas dolāra un zelta un naftas cenu analīze laika periodam no 2000. līdz 2012. gadam un pētīti galvenie valūtas, zelta un naftas tirgus dalībnieki. Darba trešajā nodaļā tika veikta ASV un Austrālijas dolāra valūtas kursa un zelta un naftas cenu ilgtermiņa un īstermiņa mijiedarbības analīze. Darbs sastāv no 84 lappusēm, un tajā ir ietvertas 14 tabulas un 22 attēli. The Thesis investigates the interaction between the United States and Australian Dollar currency exchange rate fluctuations and the prices of gold and crude oil. The interactions have been investigated by analyzing the US and Australian Dollar and the long and short term price fluctuations of gold and crude oil. The Thesis consists of three chapters. The first chapter embodies the study of the factors that influence the value of currency, gold and crude oil. The price analysis of US and Australian Dollar, gold and crude oil from year 2000 to 2012 have been included in the second chapter. The third chapter has been devoted to the analysis of long and short term interaction between the US and Australian Dollar currency exchange rates and the prices of gold and crude oil. The Thesis consists of 84 pages and has 14 tables and 22 figures.
