| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba tēma ir „ Latvijas azartspēļu nozares ekonomiskā izpēte”. Darba mērķis ir uz Latvijas azartspēļu nozares datu analīzes pamata izstrādāt priekšlikumus tās attīstības veicināšanai.
Veicamie uzdevumi: noskaidrot azartspēļu legalizācijas iemeslus; izpētīt publikācijas par azartspēļu nozari Latvijā; izanalizēt ar azartspēlēm saistīto likumdošanu; izvērtēt tirgus stāvokli un galvenos nozares ekonomiskus rādītājus; veikt nozares problēmu un ietekmējošo faktoru analīzi.
Ir secināts, ka pašlaik ir novērojama nozares stabilizēšanās. Attīstību ietekmē nelegālā tiešsaistes azartspēļu organizētāju darbība, valsts likumdošana, IKP, iedzīvotāju nodarbinātība un tūristu skaits. Valdībai jāpilnveido tiešsaistes azartspēļu regulējums, jāmeklē investori atsevišķas azartspēļu zonas izveidei.

| dc.description.abstract | The Bachelor’s title is „Economic research of Latvian gambling industry”. The purpose of this work is to analize Latvian gambling industry, make suggestions for developing this area.
Tasks: identify the reasons for the legalization of gambling business; explore publications about Latvian gambling industry; analyze laws related to gambling; estimate market condition and analyze main economic indicators of the industry; determine problems and factors that have influence on the industry.
As the result of the research, author made conclusion that currently observed stabilization of the industry. Development is affected by illegal online gambling, national law, GDP, employment of population and number of tourists. Government needs to improve regulation of online gambling, find investors to create separate gambling area.
