Latvijas konkurētspēja Baltijas jūras valstu reģionā: mežsaimniecība un kokapstrāde

Abstract

Maģistra darba autore ir Latvijas Universitātes Ekonomikas un vadības fakultātes Vadības zinību maģistra studiju programmas Starptautiskā ekonomika un bizness studiju virziena 2.kursa studente Agnese Murāne. Maģistra darba vadītājs ir Dr.oec. Viesturs Pauls Karnups. Maģistra darba temats ir Latvijas konkurētspēja Baltijas jūras valstu reģionā: mežsaimniecība un kokapstrāde. Maģistra darba mērķis ir Latvijas konkurētspējas faktoru analīze mežsaimniecības un kokapstrādes nozarēs Baltijas jūras valstu reģionā un noteikt, vai Portera konkurētspējas modelis ir piemērots šāda veida analīzei. Lai to sasniegtu autore apskata Portera konkurētspējas modeļa īpatnības un analizē Latvijas mežsaimniecības un kokapstrādes faktorus. Maģistra darba pirmajā nodaļā aplūkoti konkurētspējas teorētiskie aspekti, tās noteicošie faktori un konkurētspējas koncepciju attīstība laika gaitā. Otrajā nodaļā ir plaša Latvijas mežsaimniecības un kokapstrādes konkurētspējas ietekmējošo faktoru analīze un Baltijas jūras valstu konkurentu analīze. Trešajā nodaļā ir aplūkotas Latvijā nozīmīgākā meža nozares vadošā uzņēmuma pēc neto apgrozījuma un tīrās peļņas un arī viena no lielākajiem ražotājiem un eksportētājiem valstī - AS Latvijas Finieris - konkurētspējas noteicošie faktori un analizēti tā panākumu iemesli gan Latvijas tirgū, gan starptautiskajā tirgū. Maģistra darba apjoms ir 92 lpp., tas sastāv no 3 nodaļām, 12 tabulām un 15 zīmējumiem. Maģistra darbā izmantoti 66 dažādi literatūras un datu avoti.

Author of the thesis is International Economic and Business two-year student of faculty of economics and management of the University of Latvia. The leader of the thesis is Dr.oec. Viesturs Pauls Karnups. The Theme of the thesis is Latvian Competitivness in the region of tbe Baltic Sea States: forestry and wood-processing. The aim of this thesis is analysis of competitivness factors of Latvia in forestry and wood-pocessing sector in the reagion of the Baltic Sea States and determine if the competitivness model of Porter is appropriate in this kind of analysis. To reach this aim author examine characteristics of this model and analyse forestry and wood-processing competitivness factors. The first chapter examines theoretical aspects of the competitivness, its determinative factors and the concept development of competitivness in the course of time. The second chapter deal with the competitivness factor analysis of forestry and wood-prcessing in Latvia and the analysis of competitors in the Region of the Baltic Sea States. The last chapter discuss the major company and the biggest exporter - joint-stock company Latvijas Finieris and analyse competitive factors of the company and the reasons of success in the Latvian market and in the international business. The Thesis consists of 92 pages, 3 chapters, 12 tables and 15 figures. The Thesis is drawn on 66 different kind of information and date sources.
