Iniciatīvas vecāku ar bērniem atbalstam Baltijas jūras reģiona Eiropas Savienības dalībvalstīs

Abstract

Maģistra darba “Iniciatīvas vecāku atbalstam ar bērniem Baltijas jūras reģiona ES dalībvalstīs” tēma ir aktuāla, jo demogrāfiskā situācija būtiski ietekmē valsts ekonomisko un sociālo situāciju nākotnē. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot valsts pabalstu ietekmi uz dzimstību un izstrādāt priekšlikumus tās uzlabošanai Latvijā. Darbā pētīta un analizēta demogrāfiskā situācija, ģimenes politika un tās normatīvais regulējums Baltijas jūras reģiona Eiropas Savienības valstīs un to atšķirības, apkopoti aptaujas un ekspertu slēdzieni dzimstības uzlabošanai. Pētījumu rezultātā tika secināts, ka valsts pabalstu ietekme uz dzimstību ir maza, problēma jārisina kompleksi valsts un pašvaldību līmenī. Autore, pamatojoties uz teorijas un izpētes rezultātiem, izstrādāja ieteikumus dzimstības uzlabošanai Latvijā. Darba apjoms 95 lapas, ietvertas 9 tabulas un 18 attēli (neiekļaujot pielikumus). Master’s thesis “State support to parents with children in Baltic Sea region European Union member states” topic is topical, because demographic situation effects country economic and social situation in the future. Aim of the thesis is to examine state benefit influence on fertility and to make proposals its improvement in Latvia. In the thesis there have been studied and analysed the demographic situation, family policy and its regulatory framework in the Baltic Sea region European Union member states and their differences, summarized survey results and the conclusions of experts to improve the birth rate. At the end of research there was concluded that, benefits impact on birth rates is small, the problem should be solved combined – in international and local level. Author, basing on the knowledge and results of the research, developed recommendations to improve the birth rate in Latvia. The amount of thesis is 95 pages, including 9 tables and 18 pictures (without appendix).
