ECB inflācijas kontroles politika un iedarbības mehānismi

Abstract

Maģistra darba ietvaros darba autore analizēja Eiropas Centrālās bankas (turpmāk – ECB) iedarbības metodes, mehānismus un to ietekmi uz inflācijas rādītājiem. Darbā tiek ir pētīti ECB monetārās politikas pamatprincipi un izvērtēta stingri definētā cenu stabilitātes mērķa rezultativitāte. Darba ietvaros tika apkopota un izanalizēta informācija par ECB monetāro politiku, tās pamatnostādnēm un pielietotajiem instrumentiem, izpētīta teorētiskā bāze inflācijas un monetārās politikas ietekmes kontekstā, kā arī tika veikts empīriskais pētījums. Pētījumā tika izmantota metožu triangulācija teorētiskajā daļā veicot literatūras analīzi, bet empīrisko pētījumu balstot uz kvantitatīvajām un kvalitatīvajām metodēm, ko veido ekspertu interviju, statistikas datu apkopošana un apstrāde ar matemātisko metožu palīdzību un saistošo dokumentu analīzi. Pētījuma rezultātā tika izstrādāts inflācijas ietekmējošo faktoru modelis, salīdzinātas efektīvāko valstu, inflācijas kontroles kontekstā, monetārās politikas, un sniegta inflācijas īstermiņa un ilgtermiņa prognoze. In the context of master thesis author analyzes the European Central Bank's (henceforward - ECB) inflation control policy, influence mechanisms and evaluates their impact on the rate of inflation. In the work the ECB's monetary policy’s basic principles were explored and the effectiveness of strictly defined price stability objective was evaluated. Within the framework of master’s thesis the information was collected and analyzed on the ECB's monetary policy, the guidelines and the applied tools. Analysis of theoretical foundations of inflation was performed, the influence of monetary policy on inflation was explored and empirical study was conducted. The triangulation of the methods were used in the study, the literature analysis was performed in the theoretical part and empirical study was implemented based on a quantitative and qualitative methods, consisting of expert interviews, gathering of statistical data and processing with mathematical methods and binding document analysis. In the result of the study the affecting factor model of inflation was developed, comparison of the effective countries, in the terms of inflation control, monetary policies were compared, long and short-term forecast of inflation was set.
