Vides zinātnes studentu ārpussstudiju profesionālo iniciatīvu attīstība Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā ir sniegts ieskats vides pārvaldībā un izglītības jēdzienā. Tā kā vides zinātnes ārpusstudiju profesionālās iniciatīvas ir neformālās vides izglītības veids, tad literatūras apskatā raksturota vides izglītība, neformālā izglītība un tās nozīme studiju procesā. Tiek apskatīta gan Latvijas, gan pasaules pieredze ārpusstudiju profesionālo iniciatīvu jomā. Maģistra darbs satur pētījumu, kas balstās uz vides zinātnes bakalaura studiju programmu direktoru un jauno vides speciālistu darba devēju intervēšanu, vides zinātnes studentu anketēšanu un gadījuma pētījumu – ārpusstudiju profesionālās iniciatīvas „1.Eiropas vides zinātnes studentu nedēļa” organizēšanu un rezultātu izvērtēšanu. Balstoties uz pētījuma rezultātiem ir izstrādāta priekšlikumu pakete vides zinātnes studentu ārpusstudiju profesionālo iniciatīvu attīstībai Latvijā.

The Master’s Paper gives the insight of the environmental management and the notion of education. As the out-of-study professional initiatives are non-formal form of environmental education, in literature studies attention is paid to the non-formal and environmental education. It discusses the experience of out-of-study professional initiatives both in Latvia and the world. The Master’s Paper contains a research which is based on the interviews with the director of the environmental sciences study programme and employers of new environmental specialists, the questionnairing of environmental science students and a case study. Basing on the results of the research the set of proposals was worked out for the development of the environmental science student out-of-study professional initiatives in higher educational establishments in Latvia.
