Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Pētījumi ar ģeoradaru Taurenes apkārtnes smilšu iegulās” ir veltīts radiolokācijas metodes problemātikai. Izvēlētā pētniecības metode – radiolokācijas profilēšana - ir salīdzinoši jauna metode, un tās izmantošanas iespējas un pētniecības metodika līdz šim nav izstrādātas. Minētais nosaka tēmas aktualitāti. Pētījumā tiek sniegta trīs atsevišķu izpētes objektu ģeoloģiskā uzbūve, izmantotās pētījumu metodikas apraksts, iegūtie pētījuma rezultāti, kuros ietilpst izpētes objektu ģeoloģiskie griezumi un atsegumi, laboratoriski novērtēts pētīto nogulumu granulometriskais sastāvs un mitrums, kā arī ģeofizikālo mērījumu ieraksti, iegūto rezultātu interpretācija, diskusija par iegūtajiem rezultātiem un secinājumi par metodes izmantošanas iespējām līdzīgu pētījumu veikšanai nākotnē. This present bachelour’s paper „Studies of the sand deposits in the vicinity of Taurene using Ground penetrating radar” deals with the issue of radiolocation. The research method applied here - profile of radiolocation – is a comparatively new method, and thus its prospective application and research methodology are not elaborated yet. The above formulated statement set the urgency of the topic. The paper presents geological structure of three separate objects of examination, description of applied research methodology, the obtained data, which include geological cross-sections and outcrops of research objects, granulometric analysis and humidity of the examined deposits assessed by the laboratory, as well as records of geophysical measurements, interpretation of the obtained results, discussion concerning the obtained results and the conclusion on application of this respective method to similar studies in the future.
