Skolēnu mobilitāte Jēkabpils pilsētvidē

Abstract

Kopumā Jēkabpils sabiedriskā transporta sistēma strādā efektīgi un ir būtiska pilsētas transporta sistēmā. Tomēr pēdējos gados parādās tendence, ka sabiedriskais transports nefunkcionē jaunajos dzīvojamajos rajonos, līdz ar to bērnu mobilitāte uz izglītības iestādēm ir apgrūtināta. Rezultātā palielinās privātā transporta īpatsvars pilsētvidē. Bakalaura darbs sniedz informāciju par transporta nozīmi pilsētvidē, iedzīvotāju mobilitātes nozīmi, ilgtspējīga transporta attīstības tendencēm Eiropā un Latvijā. Darba pētījuma daļā tiek apskatīta skolēnu mobilitāte konkrētā pilsētvidē un tiek analizēta esošā situācija, kā arī problēmas, kas rodas pilsētvidē situācijā, kad skolēniem nav ērta pārvietošanās veida uz skolu un mājup no tās. In general the public transport system of Jēkabpils works effectively and is a significant part of the city transportation system. However, in recent years there has been a tendency that public transport does not function in the new residential areas; therefore the children’s mobility to their educational establishments is inconvenient. As a result, the proportion of the private transport is increasing. The project of the bachelor’s work provides information about the importance of transport in the city environment, the importance of population mobility and the tendencies of the development of sustainable transportation in Europe and Latvia. The research part of the work deals with the children’s mobility in a particular city environment and provides the analysis of the existing situation as well as the problems which arise in the city environment in the situation when children do not have any convenient way of getting to school and back home.
