Pašvaldību attīstības plānošanas dokumenti veicina teritorijas ilgtspējīgu un konkurētspējīgu ekonomisko attīstību. Teritorijas attīstības programma un teritorijas plānojums ir svarīgākie attīstības dokumenti, kuru esamība pašvaldībā un to pielietošana attīstības jautājumu risināšanā ietekmē pašvaldības attīstību kopumā un ļoti būtiski ekonomisko izaugsmi.
Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt Mālpils novada attīstību ietekmējušos faktorus un attīstības plānošanas procesus un plānošanas dokumentus pašvaldībā, sniegt priekšlikumus nākotnes plānošanas procesam un plānošanas dokumentiem.
Maģistra darbs sastāv no 1 sējuma un 4 pielikumiem. Teksta daļa sastāv no ievada, 6 nodaļām, secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem, 19 attēliem, 6 tabulām un izmantotās literatūras un avotu sarakstu kopā 72 lappusēm.

Master’s thesis is to investigate the factors influencing the development of Malpils municipality and development planning and local planning documents, to make proposals for future planning process and document
Master’s thesis is written in Latvian language and consists of 1 volume and 4 appendices. Volume total amount of 72 pages consists of an introduction 6 chapters conclusion and suggestions, 19 images, 6 tables and the bibliography and list of sources.
