26 gadu laikā Rušona ezera hidroķīmija ir ievērojami izmainījusies, arī Rušonā ietekošās up Thesis studies Rušons lake, its hydrochemical, morfometrical characteristics and thermic regime. Rušons lake is the eight largest Latvian lake with area near to 24 sq.km. The lake is located within the territory of nine municipalities of Latvia, and due to these reasons it is important to establish the sources of lake's polution and to some extent avert them. The data gained on the quality of water courses that flow into Rušons lake and hydrochemical quality of the lake is an addition to Latvia's lake water monitoring database.
The results obtained during the study on the field and in the laboratory provide that in general the hydrochemical quality corresponds to the average situation in Latvia, except the value of some biogenic elements concentration - nitrite ion concentration - that is considered non-pollutive, but exceeds the norm by 15 times. For insight the hydrochemical data obtained by the Biology Institute on 1986 is compared to the one collected by the author. During twenty s
