| dc.description.abstract | Lamsters, K. Madlienas nolaidenuma glaciālās reljefa formas un to veidošanās apstākļi. Maģistra darbs. Rīga, Latvijas Universitāte, Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu fakultāte, 2011.
Maģistra darbā ir veikts pētījums par Madlienas nolaidenuma glaciālajām reljefa formām un to veidošanās apstākļiem. Lielākā uzmanība ir pievērsta drumlinu morfoloģijai, telpiskajam sakārtojumam un iekšējai uzbūvei, kas detāli pētīta Brencēnu kalna drumlinā. Darba rezultātā ir izveidota ģeomorfoloģiskā kartoshēma, kurā attēloti drumlini, gala morēnas, bīdes sānu morēnas, marginālās grēdas un osi. Ir noteikti drumlinu morfoloģisko parametri, veikta to ģeotelpiskā un statiskā analīze. Lauka pētījumos apsekoti atsegumi karjeros, veikta slāņu saguluma elementu uzmērīšana, ģeoloģiskā urbšana ar rokas urbi, radilokācijas profilēšana, ledāja skrambu uzmērīšana un paraugu noņemšana OSL datējumiem.

| dc.description.abstract | Lamsters, K. Glacial landforms and their formation in the Madliena Tilted Plain. Maser’s thesis. Riga, University of Latvia, faculty of Geography and Earth Sciences, 2011.
Master’s thesis examines glacial landforms and their formation in the Madliena Tilted Plain. The detailed explanation is given on the morphology, spatial distribution and the internal structure of drumlins which internal structure was studied in details in the Brecēni drumlin.
One of the results is a geomorphological map with glacial landforms such as drumlins, end and recessional moraines, shear margin moraines and eskers. There were obtained morphological parameters of drumlins for geospatial and statistic analysis. Surveying of sand pits, measurements of bedding and structural elements, geological hand coring, radiolocation profiling, measurements of glacial striae and sampling of sediments for OSL dating were done during the field works.
