Maģistra darba mērķis ir raksturot Lielā Svētiņu ezera nogulumu sedimentācijas apstākļu izmaiņas ezera attīstības laikā. Darba pētniecisko daļu sastāda maģistra darbā izmantoto materiālu un metožu apraksts, karsēšanas zudumu, rentgena, magnētiskā jutīguma, sporu-putekšņu analīžu, kā arī 14C nogulumu datējumu rezultāti, to interpretācija.
Darba tekstuālo informāciju papildina kartogrāfiskais materiāls, attēli un autora izveidoti grafiki par Lielā Svētiņu ezera dziļuma mērījumiem ar eholoti dati, ģeoloģisko urbumu un zondējumu apraksti, paraugu rentgenogrammas, ezera ģeoloģiskais griezums, iegūto paraugu foto attēli un 14C datējumu paraugu tabulas, sporu-putekšņu diagramma, putekšņu uzkrāšanās intensitātes diagramma.
Maģistra darbs satur 81 lappusi, 18 attēlus un 10 pielikumus.

He aim of Master’s thesis is to characterise changes of the sediment environment during the development of Lielais Svētiņu Lake. Tasks to achieve the aim are described.
Descriptions of the methods used for investigation have been given, as well as results from Lielais Svētiņu Lake sediment field and laboratory investigations. Author acquired and performed spore-pollen analyses, magnetic suscebtibility analyses and x-ray analyses.
Thesis contains four chapters, witch include information on Austrumlatvia Lowland, Lubans Plain and detailed information and characteristics on Lielais Svētiņu Lake sediments.
The text of thesis is supplemented by maps, figures and appendix of raw data prepared by author of depth measurments in the Lielais Svētiņu Lake, as well as photos of samples.
Master thesis contains 81 pages, 18 figures and 10 appendixes.
