Datorizētā tulkošana, programmu SDL TRADOS STUDIO 2009 un Lokalize salīdzinājums

Abstract

Attīstoties tehnoloģijām un nepārtraukti pieaugot augsta līmeņa datorpratēju skaitam, zīmulis un dzēšamgumija jau sen vairs nav vienīgie palīglīdzekļi tulkošanas procesā. Bakalaura darbs ataino pārmaiņas, kas pēdējo desmitgažu laikā ir ietekmējušas tulkošanas nozari. Pētījuma mērķis bija aprakstīt un uzskaitīt dažādu datorizētās tulkošanas rīku stiprās un vājās puse, kā arī veikt tulkošanas programmu SDL Trados Studio 2009 un Lokalize salīdzinošo analīzi. Teorētiskie pētījumi pamatojas uz attiecīgo literatūras avotu apskatu. Darba mērķis tika sasniegts veicot dažādu elektronisko rīku salīdzinājumu. Empīriskās daļas pētījumu rezultāti par tulkošanas programmās integrētajiem elektroniskajiem tulkošanas rīkiem un to objektīvu novērtēšanu var būt noderīgi studentiem un tulkotājiem, kas nākotnē plāno iegādāties un strādāt ar kādu no tulkošanas programmām. With the development of technology and the continually increasing number of computer literates among the translators, the pencil and eraser have long ago ceased to be the only aid in the translation process. The bachelor thesis highlights the changes that over the past few decades have taken place with regard to the translation practice. The goal of the research is to describe and consider the pros and cons of different Computer-Assisted Translation tools in use, as well as to compare and contrast the translation programs SDL Trados Studio 2009 and Lokalize. The theoretical research was based on the literature review of relevant sources and the objective was carried out by the analysis of different electronic tools. The findings of the empirical part concerning Computer-Assisted Translation tools and their objective evaluation can be of assistance to translation students and novice translators who plan to purchase and work with different translation programs.
