Leksikas mācīšana pieaugušajiem iesācējiem Latvijā un Norvēģijā universitātes līmenī

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek pētītas stratēģijas, kuras tiek lietotas mācot norvēģu valodas leksiku pieaugušajiem iesācējiem Latvijā un Norvēģijā universitātes līmenī. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt un aprakstīt, kā norvēģu valodas leksika tiek mācīta iesācējiem universitātes līmenī, un noskaidrot labākās mācīšanas metodes, lai uzlabotu studentu vārdu krājumu. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek apskatīti leksikas mācīšanas principi, pasniedzot svešvalodu, un apspriesti līdzekļi un metodes prezentējot, trenējot un pārbaudot leksikas lietpratību. Lai apkopotu nepieciešamo informāciju praktiskajai daļai, darba autore novēroja mācību procesu Latvijā un Norvēģijā, intervēja pasniedzējas un izsniedza anketas norvēģu valodas studentiem iesācēju līmenī Latvijā un Norvēģijā. Pētījums apraksta produktīvo leksiku.Iegūtie dati liecina, ka „vārda” visu aspektu prezentēšana, trenēšana un pārbaude ir nozīmīga agrīnā valodas mācīšanas posmā.

This paper investigates the strategies applied when teaching Norwegian lexis to adult beginners in Latvia and Norway at tertiary level. The goal of this paper is to analyze how vocabulary is taught in Norwegian classes for beginners at tertiary level and to discover the best ways and means of teaching Norwegian lexis with the aim to improve the students’ word stock. The theoretical part deals with the principles of teaching lexis in foreign language teaching and discusses the ways and means in presentation, practice and testing vocabulary. The data was gathered by the means of classroom observations in Latvia and Norway, interviews with lecturers, and a questionnaire that was distributed to the Norwegian language students at the beginner level in Latvia and Norway. The current research concentrates on productive vocabulary. The data obtained indicates that the presentation, practice, and training of all the aspects of a vocabulary item are significant at the early stage of teaching.
