Eiropas Savienības sporta atbalsta politikas tiesiskie aspekti

Abstract

Maģistra darbs “Eiropas Savienības sporta atbalsta politikas tiesiskie aspekti” veltīts ES kompetences sporta jomā izpētei. Darba mērķis ir analizēt ES politikas un tiesību ietekmi uz sporta organizāciju Eiropā, konstatējot sportā pastāvošo regulējumu un tā mijiedarbību ar ES tiesību normām, apzinot pozitīvos un negatīvos aspektus un iespējamos risinājumus. Lai sasniegtu darbā izvirzīto mērķi apskatītu visus tēmas būtiskākos jautājumus, izstrādāta atbilstoša struktūra, kas sastāv no trīs nodaļām. Pamatojoties uz nodaļās aplūkoto, darbā tiek secināts, ka ES tiesībām un politikai ir ievērojama ietekme uz sporta organizāciju un turpinot piemērot ES tiesības sportam kā biznesa sfērai, var tikt apdraudēta Eiropā pastāvošā sporta organizācijas sistēma kopumā. Darba nobeigumā sniegti priekšlikumi iespējamai rīcībai pastāvošās sporta organizācijas saglabāšanā.

The Master Thesis “The Legal Aspects of European Union Sports Support Policy” explores the topic of European Union competence in the field of sports. The aim of the Thesis is to analyse the impact of EU policy and legislation on the sports organization in Europe by identifying the existing regulation in sports and its correlation with EU legislation as well as noting the facilitating and unfavourable aspects, and the possible solutions. In order to achieve the aim set for the Thesis and review all the essential aspects of the topic the Thesis is structured in three chapters. Basing on the analysis in the three chapters of the Thesis it is concluded that EU policy and law are strongly influencing sports organisation. It also concludes that by continuing applying EU law to sports as business field it may threaten the existing sports set-up in Europe. In the concluding part the Thesis gives proposals for the possible actions in order to maintain the existing specific sports set-up.
