Kopsavilkums
Neskatoties uz to, ka radioloģiskajos izmeklējumos tiek pielietotas jaunākās mazāk toksiskas kontrastvielas, to inducēta nefropātija ir aktuāla problēma mūsdienās.
Radiological examinations have been used more than 100 years. A quantity of radiological examinations is constantly increasing because of medical technology progress. These investigations have become an integral part of diagnostic and treatment. Despite the fact that at the present time new contrast agent which causes less nephrotoxity is used, contrast induced nephropathy is an important problem nowadays.
The aim of my research work is to estimate contrast-induced nephropathy incidence and contrast agent effects on renal function, to the patients who have undergone transplantation.
Study of 100 patients, 40 of them had undergone radiological examinations which contrast media administration from 1995-2010 year. In this study have been estimated CIN incidence and correlation with different factors such as gender, BMI and the year of transplantation. It has been drawn a conclusion that CIN incidence in patients who had undergone transplantation 13%. That is not high percentage thus we can make a conclusion that the preventive measures of CIN have shown benefits. The patients who have BMI higher than 26 kg/m2 CIN incidence are 88%. It has been concluded that CIN incidence correlate with the year of transplantation, it can be by reason of increasing the contrast media enhanced examinations.
