| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darbs „Psiholoģiskā atbalsta nepieciešamība sievietēm klimaktērija periodā” sastāv no četrām nodaļām, piecām apakšnodaļām un trīs pielikumiem. Darba izstrādē analizēts 31 literatūras avots par klimaktērija un menopauzes fizioloģiskajiem, psiholoģiskajiem un sociālajiem aspektiem. Darbs tika veikts ar mērķi noskaidrot, vai sievietēm klimaktērija periodā ir nepieciešams psiholoģiskais atbalsts. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika izmantota kvalitatīva pētniecības darba metode, kuras instruments ir strukturēta intervija. Pētījuma rezultāti atspoguļo, ka sievietes klimaktērija periodā vēlas saņemt psiholoģisko atbalstu. Viņas atzīst, ka veselības aprūpes darbiniekiem, arī māsām, ir nozīmīga loma viņu aprūpē, izglītošanā un atbalstīšanā šajā dzīves periodā.

| dc.description.abstract | The present paper “Need of psychological help to women in climacteric period” consists of four chapters, five subchapters and three appendixes. The paper analyses physiological, psychological and social aspects of the climacteric and menopause. It attempts to establish whether women stand in need of psychological support during the climacteric period. To achieve the aim a structured interview which is a qualitative research method has been employed. The research has shown that women would like to be provided with psychological support during the climacteric period. They admit the significant role of health care specialists as well as nurses in providing health care, guidance and support during climacteric.
