Nesteroīda pretiekaisuma līdzekļa nimesulīda aprite aptiekā

Abstract

Nimesulīds ir nesteroīds pretiekaisuma līdzeklis (NPL), ko lieto akūtu un osteoartrīta sāpju ārstēšanai un primāras dismenorrējas sāpju mazināšanai. Mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādā vecuma, cik ilgi un kādus nimesulīda preparātus pacienti lieto, vai ir novērojamas blakus parādības. Nimesulīda aprite aptiekā arī bija pētīta laika periodā no 2007.gada 1.maija līdz 2008.gada 1.maijām. Pētījumā gaitā tika noskaidrots, ka vispopulārākais medikaments ir Nimesil. Pacientu vidējais vecums bija 45.2 gadi. Pacientiem, kuri lietoja nimesulīdu, blakus parādības nav novērotas.

Nimesulide is a non-steroid antiinflammatory drug, which is widely used to treate accute and osteoarthritic pain, as well as to decrease primary dismenorhea pain. The aim of this study was to find out information about the average age of the nimesulide users, duration of nimesulide therapy and whether patients suffer from possible side effects. Nimesulide turn-over in the phamacy was also studied during the time period starting from 1st of May, 2007 till 1st of May, 2008. It was found that most popular of all nimesulide medications is Nimesil. The average age of the patient was 45.2. There were no obvious side effects reported by the patients who used nimesulide.
