Pacientu informētība par zarnu trakta tīrīšanas metodēm kolonoskopiskajiem izmeklējumiem

Abstract

Kolonoskopija ir „zelta standarts” resnās zarnas izmeklēšanai. Ar tās palīdzību var savlaicīgi diagnosticēt resnās zarnas bojājumus, arī vēzi, turklāt ir iespējams veikt dažādas terapeitiskas manipulācijas. Ir nepieciešama pareiza zarnu sagatavošana pirms izmeklējumiem, jo pat nelieli gļotādas bojājumi vai sīki polipi var būt potenciāli bīstami, taču zarnas nepilnīgas sagatavošanas dēļ tos var nepamanīt. Darba mērķis – noskaidrot pacienta zināšanas par kolonoskopiju, preparātu lietošanu un rezultātā iegūto zarnu tīrību, izmantojot Eiropas Sociālā fonda finansētā pētījuma laikā savākto pacientu anketu datu bāzi. Populārākie zarnu tīrīšanas līdzekļi ir recepšu polietilēnglikola preparāti ar 4l devu - Fortrans 4 un Cololyt 4, kuri tomēr neuzrāda teicamu zarnu tīrību. Pētījums izstrādāts Latvijas Universitātes Medicīnas fakultātes Farmācijas bakalaura studiju programmā.

Colonoscopy is the "gold standard" of colon examination. It can also early diagnose colon damage, even cancer. It is possible to perform a variety of therapeutic manipulations. Proper bowel preparation is required before the examination, because even small damage or polyps can be potentially dangerous, but because of incomplete bowel preparation, they can be overlooked. The aim of the study was to find out the patient's knowledge of colonoscopy, treatment and in result to determine intestinal purity by using collected forms from the patient database in the European Social Fund funded research. Most popular prescribed drugs for colon - cleansing was polyethylene glycol with a dose 4l - Fortran 4 and Cololyt 4, which, however, did not show an excellent bowel cleanliness. The study was carried out at Faculty of Medicine of University of Latvia in framework of Pharmacy bachelor program.
