Darba mērķis ir teorētiski pētīt un empīriski analizēt nabadzību kā bērnu sociālās atstumtības risku skolās. Diplomdarbā tiek analizēta nabadzības definīcija, ko sevī ietver nabadzība, kādas cilvēku grupas vairāk pakļautas nabadzībai, kā arī tiek analizēti faktori, kuri var izraisīt nabadzību. Darbā tiek analizēta arī bērnu nabadzība, tās cēloņi un sekas - bērnu sociālā atstumtība skolā.
Darba teorētiskā daļa sastāv no trijām galvenajām nodaļām: pirmajā nodaļā balstoties uz zinātnisko literatūru un tādu autoru kā R. L. Barker, I.Trapencieres, A. Minahan, S. Dobelnieces nabadzības definējumiem tiek analizēts nabadzības jēdziens, nabadzību izraisošie faktori un grupas, kuras vairāk pakļautas nabadzības riskam.
Otrajā nodaļā tiek analizēta bērnu nabadzība un to izraisošie cēloņi. Tiek analizēts, ka nabadzība var izraisīt tādu problēmu kā sociālo atstumtību, tieši bērnu sociālo atstumtību skolās gan no vienaudžu puses, gan no skolotāju puses.
Empīriskajā daļā tiek izmantotas padziļinātās intervijas un anketēšana. Intervēti tiek sociālie darbinieki, pedagogi un nepilngadīgo lietu inspektore, kuru darbs ir cieši saistīts ar nepilngadīgiem.
Atslēgvārdi: pamatvajadzības, nabadzība, sociālā atstumtība, bērnu nabadzība. The goal is to explore the theoretical and empirical analysis of poverty as a risk of child social exclusion in schools. In graduation paper analyzed the poverty definition, what includes in poverty, a group of people, who more exposed to poverty, and analyzes the factors which may cause poverty. Authoress analyzed child poverty,too, its causes and consequences - the social exclusion of children in school.
The work's theoretical part consists of three main divisions: the first chapter based on the scientific literature and on the authors like R. L. Barker, I. Trapencieris A. Minahan, S. Dobelniece definitions. Int ha process of the research is analyzed definicions of poverty, the concept of poverty, poverty-generating factors and the group with the greatest risk to become poor.
The second chapter is analyzed children's poverty and their causative causes. It is analyzed that poverty can lead to problems such as social exclusion, the social exclusion of children in schools from peers and from teachers.
The purpose of the empirical research is to find out the opinion of social workers, teachers about poverty as a risk for hildren of social exclusion at schools. Methodology: interviewing and inquiry.
