Bakalaura darba tēmas nosaukums ir "Bezrecepšu medikamentu reklāmu komunikācija un to uztvere auditorijā. Žurnāla "Māja" un "Veselība" publicēto reklāmu analīze (2008–2012)". Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt bezrecepšu medikamentu reklāmu komunikāciju ar sabiedrību, analizējot žurnāla „Veselība” un „Māja” reklāmas laika periodā no 2008. līdz 2012. gadam.
Pētījuma problēma ir pašārstēšanās, uzstādot sev diagnozi un izlemjot, kādus medikmentus lietot, nepārzinot organisma procesus un zāļu iespējamos blakusefektus bezrecepšu medikamentu reklāmu ietekmē.
Pētījumā izmantotās metodes ir kvantitatīvā kontentanalīze, daļēji strukturētās intervijas, telefonaptaujas.
Iegūtie rezultāti parādīja, ka pēc sabiedrības domām reklāmas ir nepieciešamas, lai iegūtu informāciju par bezrecepšu medikamentiem. Darba apjoms: 67. lpp., attēlu skaits: 40, pielikumu skaits: 9.

The title of this diploma paper is "Advertising communication and consumer perception of non-prescription medication. Analysis of published advertisements in magazine "Māja" and "Veselība" (2008–2012)". The aim of this paper is to research advertising communication of non-prescription medicinal products with society. The research object is advertisement in magazines „Māja” and „Veselība” from 2008 to 2012.
The research problem is the self-treatment and people are self-diagnosing, deciding on what medication to use, without any knowledge of body and it processes and the possible side effects of non-prescription medicinal products because of the advertisement of medicinal products.
The methods used in this diploma paper are: quantitative content analysis, partially structured interview and telephone survey.
This research shows that the society considers advertisement useful as a source of information. The extent of this diploma paper is 67 pages, images:40, appendixes:9.
