Deivida O’Rasela filmu galveno varoņu analīze

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tika pētīti amerikāņu režisora Deivida O’Rasela filmu „Cīnītājs”, „Optimista stāsts” un „Amerikāņu afēra” galvenie varoņi, kā arī tika izdarīti secinājumi par režisora kino stilu jeb kino rokrakstu. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tika aplūkoti semiotikas, kino semiotikas, kino valodas, kino naratīva un kino teorijas teorētiskie aspekti, kas ir pamats darba pētījumam. Darba pētījuma problēma: režisoram Deividam O’Raselam ir savs specifiskais kino rokraksts, ko iespējams atklāt, analizējot viņa filmu galvenos varoņus ar semiotisko un naratīvo pētniecības metodi. Darba mērķis ir iepazīties ar kino naratīva un semiotikas teoriju un, balstoties uz to, veikt Deivida O’Rasela filmu galveno varoņu analīzi, kas ļaus noteikt režisora kino rokrakstu.

The topic of this Paper is „Main characters’ analysis in David O’Russell’s films”. The research studies director David O’Russell’s films „Fighter”, „Silver Linings Playbook” and „American Hustle” main characters, which allows to make conclusions on director’s signature film style or handwriting. In the theoretical part, the theoretical aspects of film semiotics, film narrative, film theory and film language, including the elements of the film language, have been reviewed. The research problem is: director David O’Russell has his own style or handwriting, which is possible to reveal by analysing the main characters in his films using narrative and semiotic analysis methods. The aim of this research is to investigate the theory of semiotics and narrative, and based on that determine the traits of the main characters, which will allow to make conclusions about director David O’Russell’s signature style.
