Varoņi Rīgas starptautiskā kino foruma "Arsenāls" 2006 Tuvo Austrumu filmās

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs „Varoņi Rīgas starptautiskā kino foruma Arsenāls 2006 Tuvo Austrumu filmās” pievēršas kultūras, sociālājiem un politiskajiem aspektiem, pētot kādus ziņojumus vēsta Tuvo Austrumu (TA) filmu varoņi, kāds ir varoņu savstarpējais pozicionējums filmu naratīvos uz kara fona un kādas kopumā ir varoņu veidotās TA reprezentācijas. Pētījumā analizētas divas filmas: „Zozo” un „Arī bruņurupuči lido”. Pētījuma metode - naratīva analīze, izmantojot, A. Greimasa aktantu modeli un K. Levī-Strosa bināro opozīciju pieeju. Teorētiskais materiāls - naratīva teorijas un pētniecību, kino kā naratīvs, un naratīvu veidojošie elementi filmā. Galvenais secinājums par abām filmām ir,ka būtiskāki ir sociālie vēstījumi, nevis TA reprezentācijas filmas vēstījumos. Pētījumā izklāstīta teorija, tad analītiskā daļa un secinājumi.

The diploma paper „The heroes of the Middle East films in Riga International Cinema Forum "Arsenals" 2006” focuses on cultural, social and political aspects analysing, what messages are announced by the heroes of the Middle East (ME) films, what are their mutual positions in film narratives on the background of war and what are their Middle East representations. The research analyses two films: „Zozo” un „Turtles can fly”. The method of research – narrative analyses, using the actant model of A. Greimass and binary opositions of C. Levi-Strauss. Theory includes narrative theories and research, film as narrative and the elements of film narrative. The main conclusion about both movies is that social problems are more important than ME representatons in film messages. The research contains theory, empirical part and conclusion.
