Bakalaura darba „Apģērbu mazumtirgotāju zīmolu identitātes atbilstība tēlam patērētāju apziņā. „Cropp Town” un „New Yorker” piemērs” mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādā mērā zīmola pozicionētā identitāte atbilst potenciālo patērētāju ekspektācijām un mērķauditorijā figurējošajam tēlam.
Tēmas izvēles pamatojums saistīts ar globālu tendenci preču piegādātāju daudzumam gandrīz visos preču tirgos pieaugt, kā arī pēdējo divu gadu laikā vērojamo straujo jauniešu apģērbu zīmolu konkurences pieaugumu Latvijā, kas iztaisījis zīmolvedības nozīmes kāpumu.
Darbs neoficiāli veidots divās daļās: teorētiskā daļa sastāv no divām nodaļām, pirmajā no kurām, tiek apstatīti tādi jēdzieni kā zīmola identitāte un tēls, zīmola jūtīgums, kā arī sniegts ieskats mazumtirdzniecības zīmolvedībā. Otra nodaļa veltīta mērķauditorijas izpratnes veidošanai, iekļaujot teoriju par patērētāju vajadzībām un jauniešu psiho-sociālo raksturojumu.
Darba empīriskajā daļa sastāv no nodaļas, kurā aprakstītas izmantotās pētniecības metodes- daļēji strukturēta un fokusa grupas intervija-, savukārt otrā nodaļa veltīta pētījuma rezultātu izklāstam.
Atslēgvārdi: mazumtirdzniecības zīmols, zīmola identitāte, zīmola tēls, jaunieši, apģērbs, „Cropp Town”, „New Yorker”.
