VMware virtualizācijas risinājumu izmantošana lokālo tīklu izveidē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „VMware virtualizācijas risinājumu izmantošana lokālo tīklu izveidē” tiek veikta vSphere 5 virtualizācijas platformas teorētiska izpēte un funkciju apzināšana, ar mērķi pielietot dažāda veida risinājumus, ko vSphere 5 platforma sniedz, veicot virtualizācijas infrastruktūras izveidi. Virtualizācijas infrastruktūra tiek veidota ar mērķi izveidot pilnībā strādājošu virtuālu infrastruktūru, kurā būtu iespējams realizēt visas pieejamās vSphere 5 platformas augstas pieejamības, elektroenerģijas taupīšanas un automatizētas pārvaldības funkcijas. Bakalaura darba izstrādes rezultātā izveidoto, virtualizācijas infrastruktūru vai tās daļas ir iespējams izvietot ražošanas vidē efektīvu serveru konsolidācijas pasākumu veikšanai. Darbā apskatīto teorētisko informāciju var izmantot, lai gūtu labāku priekšstatu par vSphere 5 virtualizācijas platformā pieejamajām funkcijām un risinājumiem virtualizācijas jautājumos.

The bachelor paper „Using VMware virtualization solutions in creation of local area networks” is concerned with the theoretical investigation of vSphere 5 virtualization platform and studying of its functions. It is aimed at employing different kind of solutions provided by vSphere at developing the infrastructure of virtualization. The infrastructure of virtualization is being developed to create a fully functioning virtual infrastructure, where all functions in regard to high accessibility, economizing the electrical power and automated management accessible in vSphere 5 platorm could be implemented. It is possible to locate the virtualization structure or part of it, created in the result of the developed bachelor paper, in a production environment to implement effective server consolidation measures. Theoretical information collected in the paper can be used to have a deeper insight about the functions accessible in vSphere 5 platform and solutions in issues of virtualization.
