TV seriālu sekotājs

Abstract

„TV seriālu sekotājs” ir uz WPF tehnoloģijām bāzēta sistēma, kas ļauj tās lietotājiem meklēt TV seriālus regulāri atjaunojamā tīmekļa avotā “TVRage” un sekot viņiem līdzi, apgādāt lietotāju ar tiem saistītu aktuālo informāciju, kā arī veikt uzskaiti par visiem lietotāja izvēlētajiem seriāliem, saglabāt visu informāciju lokāli, lietotāja datorā. Sistēma atbalsta regulāru lietotāja izvēlētu seriālu jaunumu pārbaudi, strādājot arī fona režīmā, nekavējoties informējot lietotāju par tiem. Projekts ir izstrādāts pēc spējās izstrādes modeļa. Sistēmas izstrādē ir izmantots .NET ietvars WPF lietojumprogrammu veidošanai, kas par pamatu izmanto C# programmēšanas valodu un Microsoft SQL Server datubāžu pārvaldības sistēmu. “TV show tracker” is a WPF-based system, that allows its users to search for TV shows in a regulary updating web resource “TVRage” and track them, supplying user with up to date information about them, as well as keeping track of all the user selected TV shows, keeping all the necessary information locally, on a users computer. System supports regular checks for a user selected show news, also while working in background, immediately informing the user about them. The project was developed using Agile software development model. The WPF application was developed using .NET framework, which uses the C# programming language and Microsoft SQL Server relational database management system.
