Ārvalstu tiešās investīcijas apstrādes rūpniecībā Latvijā

Abstract

Diplomdarba temats ir „Ārvalstu tiešās investīcijas apstrādes rūpniecībā Latvijā”. Darba mērķis ir identificēt investīcijas ietekmējošos faktorus apstrādes rūpniecības nozarē, pamatojoties uz ārvalstu tiešo investīciju vides analīzi apstrādes rūpniecībā Latvijā, un izstrādāt secinājumus un priekšlikumus šo investīciju sekmīgai turpmākai piesaistei. Darbs izstrādāts trīs daļās. Darba pirmajā daļā, definēts ārvalstu tiešo investīciju jēdziens, kā arī apkopoti teorētiskie materiāli par šo investīciju piesaistošajiem faktoriem, un izvērtēta to ietekme uz valsts ekonomiku. Otrajā daļā novērtēta vispārējā Eiropas ārvalstu tiešo investīciju vide, detalizētāk vērtētas ārvalstu tiešo investīciju tendences Latvijā salīdzinot ar citām Eiropas valstīm. Trešajā daļā veikts pētījums, izvērtējot ārvalstu tiešo investīciju ietekmējošos faktorus apstrādes rūpniecībā, balstoties uz kvalitatīvo metodi – intervijām un ekonometrisko modeli.

The topic of the thesis is “Foreign Direct Investment in Manufacturing Industry of Latvia”. The objective of it is to identify determinants of investment for manufacturing industry,based on the foreign direct investment environment analysis for manufacturing industry of Latvia and to give and suggestions for continuous successful attraction of investment. In the first part the concept of foreign direct investment is defined,it summarizes theoretical materials about determinants of investment and gives evaluation of the influence of this investment on countries economy. In the second part author evaluates the foreign direct investment environment of Europe,estimates details of foreign direct investment tendencies in Latvia in comparison to other European countries. The third part contains the research,evaluating the determinants influencing foreign direct investment in manufacturing industry,based on qualitative method–interviews and econometric modmodel.
