| dc.description.abstract | Mūsdienās digitālās valūtas kļūst ar vien izplatītākas, tādēļ autore ir izvēlējusies pētīt digitālo valūtu Bitcoin. Maģistra darba mērķis ir izanalizēt, kādas ir Bitcoin valūtas priekšrocības un trūkumi, lai izdarītu secinājumus un izstrādātu priekšlikumus Bitcoin uzlabošanai, lai nākotnē tā spētu būt tikpat konkurētspējīga kā reālā valūta.
Pēc pētījuma veikšanas autore secināja, ka Bitcoin popularitāte gan lietotāju vidū, gan uzņēmumu vidū, kas sāk pieņemt Bitcoin digotālo valūtu, tikai turpina pieaugt, tomēr Bitcoin digitālās valūtas regulējošie tiesību aspekti joprojām nav sakārtoti.
Galvenais priekšnoteikums, lai izvairītos no iespējamiem riskiem, kas var skart Bitcoin valūtas lietotājus, ir informēti un zinoši lietotāji.

| dc.description.abstract | Nowadays digital currency is becoming more and more widespread, so the author has chosen to explore the digital currency called Bitcoin. Master's Thesis targets are to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the Bitcoin currency, and as a result draw conclusions and develop proposals to improve Bitcoin and let it become as competitive as real currency.
As a result, author conclude, that the popularity of Bitcoin continues to grow both among users and enterprise that accept Bitcoin digital currency, but the mess is that laws to regulate Bitcoin are still not sorted. The basic precondition to avoid the potential risks that may affect the users of Bitcoin currncy, are informed and knowledgeable users.
