Kopīgais un atšķirīgais Zemgales un Augštaitijas pierobežas pagastu ciemu ainavās
Abstract
Pētījumā “Kopīgais un atšķirīgais Zemgales un Augštaitijas pierobežas ciemu ainavās” tiek apskatīta divu kaimiņvalstu Latvijas (Brunavas pagasts) un Lietuvas pierobežas (Saločiai pagasts) lauku ainavas. Darba gaitā tiek aplūkota teritorijas kultūrvēsturiskā attīstība, meklēti tie makro ekonomiskie un sociālpolitiskie faktori, kas noteikuši ciemu apdzīvojuma tipa izzušanu Latvijā un atšķirīgu lauku ainavas izveidošanos abu valstu pierobežā. Rezultātā kā galvenais iemesls lauku ainavas veidošanā teritorijā minama lauksaimniecības politika, kā 20. gadsimta sākumā tā Padomju Savienības laikā, kā arī, protams, mūsdienās notiekošās saimnieciskās darbības un iedzīvotāju aktivitāte.
Bakalaura darbs veido piecas nodaļas. Pirmajā no tām apskatīti lauku ainavas elementi, to veidošanās nosacījumi un izpētes pieejas. Tai seko informācija par izejas materiāliem un metodēm, kas izmantotas pētījuma ietvaros, kā arī raksturota teritorija. Trešajā nodaļā aplūkota Zemgales un Augštaitijas lauku ainavas kultūrvēsturiskā saikne, bet ceturtajā raksturota Brunavas un Saločiai pagasta pierobežas ciemu lauku ainavas attīstība 20. gadsimtā, teritorijas ainavas dabas pamatne un ainavas funkcijas. Pēdējā nodaļā, kas ir pētījuma rezultātu apkopojums, izvērsta diskusija par Brunavas un Saločiai pagastu pierobežas ciemu ainavas raksturu.
Bakalaura darba rezultāti parāda lauku ainavas dažādību Latvijas - Lietuvas pierobežā.

The research focuses on the historical development of the area, as well as commonly discusses the macroeconomic and socio-political factors that have favoured the disappearance of the village type settlements and have created the circumstances for the distinct rural landscape development at the borderland. The today’s distinct landscape character is derived from the agricultural policy at the early 20th century (Stolipin’s Land Reform, Agrarian Reform) and the Soviet Union collectivization and land masivization period, as well as the present-day agricultural and overall residential activities.
The bachelor’s thesis consists of 5 chapters. The first chapter examines the elements of a rural landscape, the conditions of their formation and study approaches. It is followed by a chapter that contains the information on the materials and methods used in the research, as well as of the description of area. The third chapter contains an overview of the cultural and historical connections of Zemgale and Augštaitija, whereas the fourth chapter describes the border landscape villages in Brunava and Saločiai parishes during the 20th century, the natural basis and functions of the landscape. The last chapter contains a summary of the research results and an extended discussion on the characteristics of Brunava and Saločiai parish borderland village landscape. The results of the bachelor’s thesis demonstrate the rural landscape diversity in the Latvian-Lithuanian borderland.
