Abstract

Bakalaura darbā apskatītā tēma ir Jūrmalas Buļļuciema vietas identitātes maiņa 21. gadsimtā. Darbā apskatīta Jūrmalas Buļļuciema vietas un kopienas identitāte, un tās izmaiņas 21. gadsimtā. Darbs izstrādāts koncentrējot uzmanību uz lielo zvejniecības ietekmi uz vietu un tur dzīvojošo kopienu, kā arī dažādiem vietai un kopienai nozīmīgiem faktoriem. Darba veikšanā, izmantotas šādas metodes: verbālā komunikācija, kas sevī ietver gan strukturētas un nestrukturētas intervijas, gan brīva veida sarunas; izmantotas kartogrāfiskās metodes; līdzdalības novērojumi. Darbs sastāv no piecām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā apskatīta zvejniecība, kā vispārīgs identitāti veidojošs faktors. Otrajā nodaļā apskatīti izmantotie materiāli un metodes. Trešajā nodaļā veikts pētāmās teritorijas apraksts. Ceturtajā nodaļā apskatīta vietas un kopienas identitāte. Piektajā nodaļā apskatāmi ieteikumi teritorijas attīstībai. Darba rezultāts parāda identitātes studiju nozīmi cilvēku personīgajā dzīvē, kopienas sadzīvē un plānošanā.

Bachelor paper „The Change of Jūrmala Buļļuciems Place Identity in the 21st Century” is devoted to both – place and community identities and their transformations in 21st century in Latvia as one of the post-communist country and new member state of the European Union since 2004. The study focus on large fishery impact on place and community and the place and community identity change due to the privatization and the restructuring of the Baltic Sea fishery sector, also some local factors influencing place identity have been mentioned. The methods used in the research are field study, participatory observation, interviews, literature and document studies. The paper consists of five chapters. First chapter provides overview on fisheries as one of the place identity shaping factor. Second chapter lists sources and methods used in this study. Third chapter gives the general overlook of the researched territory. Fourth chapter examines place and community identities. Fifth chapter includes recommendations for the future development of the territory.
