| dc.description.abstract | Zanes Prūses bakalaura darbs „ Latvijas ozolu mežaudžu augšņu cilmiežu ģeoloģiskā un ģeomorfoloģiskā interpretācija” tika veikts ar mērķi, lai noskaidrotu sakarības starp Latvijas ozolu audžu augšņu cilmiezi veidojošajiem nogulumiem, augšņu tipiem (izmantojot nacionālo augšņu klasifikācijas sistēmu) un augšņu tipu raksturīgākajām īpašībām.
Pētījuma praktiskā daļa tika veikta Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu augšņu laboratorijā, kur autore veica granulometrisko analīzi 104 augšņu ģenētiskajiem horizontiem, kas tikuši ievākti 24 parauglaukumos cita pētījumu ietvaros. Iegūtie rezultāti tika salīdzināti ar augšņu dziļrakumu fotoattēliem, dažādiem kartogrāfiskajiem materiāliem, noskaidrojot augšņu cilmieža ģenētisko tipu. Iegūtie dati tika savstarpēji salīdzināti un veikts ģeoloģisko un ģeomorfoloģisko procesu lomas interpretācija augšņu veidošanās procesā.

| dc.description.abstract | Bachelor thesis „Geological and geomorphological interpretation of oak forest soil parent material in Latvia” was made by Zane Pruse. The aim was to find out, is there any coincidences between oak forest soil parent material, soil types (according to national soil classification system) and main soil types characteristics.
The practical part of research was made in soil laboratory of Faculty of Geography and Earth sciences, where author processed and analyzed samples from 24 sampling plots and determining the granulometric composition of 104 genetic soil horizonts in total, by using soil granulometric analysis. The gained data was compared with multiple cartographic materials and photos from field work, determining the genesis of soil parent material and furthermore interpretating the role of geological and gemorphical processes and their influence on soil forming processes.
