„Furor” Senekas traģēdijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba "„Furor” Senekas traģēdijā" mērķis ir noskaidrot "furor" nozīmi un tā izpausmes Senekas traģēdijās "Mēdeja", "Faidra", "Trakojošais Herkuless". Pētījums veltīts šī jēdziena analizēšanai, balstoties uz minēto traģēdiju autora filozofiskām atziņām. Darbā izvirzīta hipotēze, ka pētāmajās Senekas traģēdijās "furor" elements tiek izmantots didaktiskos nolūkos. Pētījumā tiek apskatīts un analizēts "furor", kas pārņem Senekas traģēdijas tēlus atraidītas, nepiepildāmas mīlestības dēļ, un "furor", ko tiem izraisa dievu uzsūtītais prāta aptumsums. Darba ietvaros tiek pētīts Senekas filozofiskais traktāts "Par dusmām"; šī traktāta analīze palīdz izprast dusmu gradāciju, kā arī "furor" īpatnības augstākminētajās traģēdijās.

The aim of the paper titled "„Furor” in Senecan tragedy" is to clarify the meaning of "furor" and its manifestations in Seneca’s tragedies "Medea", "Phaedra" and "The Madness of Hercules". The study is dedicated to analyzing this concept based on philosophical thoughts of the author of the above-mentioned tragedies. The paper propounds a hypothesis that the element of "furor" in the explored Senecan tragedies is used for didactical purposes. In the study "furor" which overtakes the characters of Senecan tragedies because of overcast, unfulfilled love is analyzed, as well as "furor" which is caused by insanity sent to them by gods. The theoretical basis of the paper is Seneca’s philosophical essay "On Anger" the analysis of which helps in understanding the gradation of anger, as well as the specifics of "furor" in the above-mentioned tragedies.
