Aprūpes dokumentācijas nozīme māsas praksē

Abstract

Pārmaiņas veselības aprūpes sistēmā ievērojami ir ietekmējusi māsas profesijas attīstību. Māsai ir iespēja pilnveidoties, padarīt aprūpes darbu interesantāku, realizēt jaunas idejas un iespējas, kā arī gūt gandarījumu par veikto aprūpi māsu praksē. Veicot aprūpi māsām jābūt aktīvām, lai varētu iesaistīties lēmuma pieņemšanā par veselības aprūpes kvalitāti un tās nodrošināšanu. Strādājot pacientu aprūpē un pielietojot aprūpes dokumentāciju, un apzinot tās nozīmi māsas praksē, autore izpētīja, kā māsas iegūto informāciju no pacienta dokumentē un kādu iespaidu tas atstāj uz aprūpes procesu. Tika izvirzīts sekojošs pētījuma darba mērķis: noskaidrot, kādu aprūpes dokumentāciju pielieto māsas praksē. Veicot aptaujas anketēšanu un intervijas, iepazinos ar literatūru un analizējot iegūtos datus, secināju, ka māsas, kuras veicot aprūpi un iegūto informāciju dokumentē aprūpes procesā ir pārliecinātākas, zinošākas, spēj uzklausīt un respektēt pacienta vajadzības, nodrošināt pacienta aprūpi. Turklāt, māsas, kuras ir uzsākušas pielietot aprūpes procesā dokumentēšanu, labāk izprot aprūpes dokumentācijas nepieciešamību un nozīmi aprūpes procesā.

Changes in health care system have considerably influenced the development of the nursing profession. Nurses have the possibility to grow, make the nursing job more appealing, and realize new ideas and prospects as well as to get satisfaction from the clinical nursing. Nurses who providing health or nursing care have to be active in order to join the decision – making process about the health care quality and delivery. Working in patient care, using care documentation and being aware of its significance in clinical nursing I have chosen to explore how nurses document patient information and the effect it makes on the nursing process. The research aim was to find as follows: to find out what kind of patient care documentation is used in clinical nursing. Analyzing data from survey and interviews, as well as reviewing related literature, the data demonstrates at nurses who record obtained data nursing process are more confident and competent, they are able to listen to patients needs and respect them as well as to provide care. Moreover, nurses who have started to use documentation in the nursing process better understand its necessity and significance in the nursing process itself.
