NPL regulāra lietošana 6,4 reizes palielinaja peptiskās čūlas asiņošanas risku [OR (95% CI) = 6,4 (3,0-13,4); p = 0,000]. Sieviešu dzimums un vecums palielināja šo risku vēl vairāk. Citi faktori, tādi kā H.pylori infekcija, smēķēšana, alkohola lietošana, asins grupa un Rēzus faktors, peptiskās čūlas asiņošanas risku saistībā ar NPL lietošanu neietekmēja. NPL lietošana palielināja hospitalizācijas ilgumu, bet neietekmēja slimības iznākumu.
ATSLĒGVĀRDI: NESTEROĪDIE PRETIEKAISUMA LĪDZEKĻI, NPL, NSPL, PEPTISKĀS ČŪLAS ASIŅOŠANA The use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) is the main risk factor for peptic ulcer bleeding, but there is no information concerning same evaluation in Latvia. The aim of the study is to estimate the risk of peptic ulcer bleeding associated with regular use of NSAIDs, assess other factor influence on this risk, as well as establish whether the use of NSAIDs influenced the length of hospital stay and the outcome of the disease. Regular use of NSAIDs increased peptic ulcer bleeding risk 6.4 times [OR (95% CI) = 6.4 (3,0-13,4); p = 0,000]. Female gender and age increased this risk even more. Other factors, such as H.pylori infection, smoking, alcohol use, blood group and Rhesus factor did not influence the risk of peptic ulcer bleeding associated with use of NSAIDs. The use of NSAIDs increased the length of hospital stay, but there was no effect on the outcome of the disease.
