Lunasin is a 43 amino acid bioactive peptide, which attracted its attention not only to open anti-inflammatory, anti–oxidative and anti-cancer (chemopreventive) properties, but also with the ability to affect the central nervous system functions, which process is carried out through the dopaminergic processes. This Master Thesis present an opportunity to get acquainted with the research which is focused on the possible lunasin central activity studies on mice behavioral reactions, interactions with other neurotransmitter systems – opiate, serotonin and ethanol – induced effects. We detected that lunasin does not have an impact on pain and it does not affect the properties of Naloxon and the effects of buspirone – induced immobility. But lunasin is able to influence receptor agonist 5HT2A/2C – the effects of DOI open field test, as well as present to affect ethanol -induced effects of increased X-shaped labyrinth (Elevated X-maze test).
