| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba tēma: Paliatīvā aprūpe gerontoloģijā.
Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka biežā saslimšana veciem cilvēkiem sabiedrībā, jo pēc statistikas datiem saslimšana ar paliatīvo aprūpi veciem cilvēkiem arvien palielinās.
Darba mērķis ir teorētiski pētīt un analizēt medicīnas māsas lomu paliatīvā aprūpē ar veciem cilvēkiem un šo pakalpojumu atbilstību viņu vajadzībām.
Pētniecības uzdevumi ir:
1.Teorētiski analizēt paliatīvās aprūpes jēdzienu,
2.Apskatīt un analizēt gerontoloģisko medicīnisko darbu,
3. Raksturot medicīnas māsas funkcijas un tās saistību ar darbu paliatīvajā aprūpē,
4. Analizēt medicīnas māsas lomu paliatīvā aprūpē ar veciem klientiem.
Pētniecības metode: kvalitatīvā pētniecības metode, pētījuma instruments- intervija. Respondenti tika iedalīti divās grupās- medicīnas darbinieki- māsas un sanitāri, un pacienti, kuri ir vecāki par 65 gadiem.
Iegūtie rezultāti ļauj secināt, ka būtisks dzīves kvalitātes kritērijs veciem klientiem tiek uzsvērta vide, tās pieejamība un plašais veselības aktivitāšu un atpūtas pasākumu klāsts, speciālistu profesionalitāte un daudzveidība.

Topicality down the frequent presence of the elderly in society, because statistics show that the presence of a palliative care for the elderly is increasing.
The objective is to theoretically explore and analyze the role of nurses in palliative care to the elderly and those services with their needs.
The research questions are:
1) theoretical analysis of the concept of palliative care,
2) View and analyze geriatric medical work,
3) To characterize the functions of nurses and its relationship to the work of palliative care,
4) Analyze the role of nurses in palliative care to elderly clients.
Research Methods: Analysis of the literature, analysis of documents, interviews, observation.
The results obtained suggest that an important criterion for the quality of life of elderly clients emphasizes the environment, the availability of extensive health and leisure activities and the range of measures, professionalism and diversity.
