Abstract

Maģistra darba “Utopiju konstruēšana no 1990.gada decembra līdz 1991.gada februārim. Preses analīze” mērķis ir noskaidrot utopiju konstruēšanu laikrakstos no 1990. gada decembra līdz 1991. gada februārim. Lai to noskaidrotu, analizēju 180 publikācijas no 22 preses izdevumiem, pielietojot kontentanalīzi un naratīva analīzi. Maģistra darbs sastāv no piecām nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā skaidroju, kas ir utopijas. Otrajā nodaļā aprakstu situāciju Latvijā 20. gadsimta 80./90. gadu mijā, apskatu, kādu nākotni cilvēki paredzēja Padomju Savienībā un Latvijā. Trešajā nodaļā ir apskatīta mediju sistēma 80./90. gadu mijā, bet ceturtajā – skaidrots, kas ir naratīvs un tā analīze, kā arī aplūkots, kas ir kontentanalīze. Piektajā nodaļā ir aprakstīta pētījuma procesā iegūtā informācija. Atslēgas vārdi: Utopijas, mediji, pārejas periods

The goal of master paper „The Construction of Utopias in the Press: December, 1990 - February, 1991” is to clarify the construction of utopias in the press from December, 1990 to February, 1991. In the master paper I analyzed 180 publications from 22 press editions, using content analysis and narrative analysis. The master paper consists of five chapters. In the first chapter I explained the concept of utopia but in the second - described situation in Latvia during the change of 20th century’s 80ties/90ties, examined what kind of future people predicted to Soviet Union and to Latvia. In the third chapter the media system in 80ties/90ties is viewed, but in the fourth – explained what is narrative and its analysis, as well as content analysis. In the fifth chapter there is described information obtained during the research process. Key words: Utopias, media, transition
