dc.description.abstract | This Bachelor thesis theme is R2P within global constitutionalism: the case of Libya intervention.
The emerging role of R2P within international politics shows us how constitutional questions, which are related to human rights, democracy, and other important norms, can go beyond the nation state border, promoting international systems constitutionalization. In this bachelor thesis author, analyzes military intervention in Libya and role of the R2P within this context. This raises question: whether states still carry the sole of responsibility to protect its citizens? Hypothesis: States no longer carry the sole of responsibility to protect its citizen’s fundamental rights.
The hypothesis has been proved.
